Getting started

Close notes: Click the "X" in the top-right corner to close a note. It will be saved automatically and can be reopened by double-clicking it from the note list.

View all notes: Click the three-dot menu (•••) on any note and select "Notes list" to see a list of all your current and closed notes.

Sync across devices: Sign in with your Microsoft account in the settings to sync your notes across all your Windows devices.

Delete a note: Click the three-dot menu (•••) and select the trash can icon to delete a note.

To install Sticky Notes on Windows, search for "Sticky Notes" in the Start menu or Microsoft Store. If it's not found, open the Microsoft Store, search for "Microsoft Sticky Notes," and click "Get" or "Install". Once installed, you can open the app to create new notes by clicking the plus (+) icon or pressing \(Ctrl+N\). 

Installation steps

Click the Start button or the search bar on the taskbar.

Type "Sticky Notes" and see if it appears in the results. If it is already installed, you can click to open it.

If it's not installed, type "Microsoft Store" in the search bar and open the app.

In the Microsoft Store, search for "Microsoft Sticky Notes".

Click the "Get" or "Install" button to download and install the free application.

If prompted, sign in with your Microsoft account.
